In this first episode I show you around one of my favorite neighborhoods which is Opera. It was a bank holiday last Thursday so me and my friend Samir decided to walk around, shop a little and eat a lot LOL. I’ll also end up showing you some of my favorite food shops. I really enjoy Asian food, particularly Korean and Japanese.
If you are ever in Paris I definitely recommend these spots you will not be disappointed.
Last Tuesday I was feeling pretty blue because of the weather and the cold. So I decided to take myself on a date and explore Parisian museums and visit the bookstore. I wanted to share some of my Parisian tips from locals since I know that it can be difficult to visit a city and not know what people who live there do on a daily basis.
I hope that if one day you visit Paris you will be able to use these Parisian Diaries as a guide of what one Parisian amongst millions to. One of my favorite museums in Paris is the Palais de Tokyo. Unfortunately it was closed and I ended up rerouting for the Museum of decorative arts. They have a permanent collection which is pretty neat because you don’t have to pay, you can just go in and explore. I often get asked by my friends what they can eat in Paris.
We are very lucky to live in a city that offers such a variety of amazing food. As I mentioned previously I am partial to Asian food but you can stop by a French boulangerie and get some really good food.
As I’ve mentioned in this Parisian Vlog I have been enjoying bubble teas particularly my trouble tease and it’s now somewhat of a tradition for Samir and I to get one when we see each other.
Finally, although I did not find my happiness in the museum of decorative arts book shop it was pretty cool to walk around and see so many cool books about art.
