An exciting new Paris exposition ‘Art Liberte’ will soon open at Gare de L’Est (10th Arrondissement). On view?: 30 large original concrete slabs from the infamous Berlin Wall …each has a highly creative, unique and evocative signature design. (I liked the ‘Hindenburg Disaster’ themed one)…choosing Gare de L’Est was symbolic, it’s the traditional historical ‘bridge’ between France & Germany. As Well!..on April 15 show organizers have invited ‘street artists’ to paint sections of the original wall on the Plaza de la Gare l’Est..(I think!) Show runs til July. Plans also call for the appearance of some old Trabants! Go! Get a healthy dose of Art, History and Fun! (and its F-r-e-e!) OH….AND BE SURE TO LOOK INSIDE THE TERMINAL for even more artwork on the same theme. Bring your camera, you’re gonna want souvenirs! Just a cool idea in a classic Paris environment!
