FIF Art Basel 2022

During Art Basel week in Miami, 11 students from Fashion Institute of Florida debuted their designs down the runway in an annual Fashion/ Art event hosted by the Fashion Designers of Latin America. Each student showcased a fabulous, two-look collection. I am proud to announce that a new generation of designers is taking over!
For the fashion show, each student designed and drafted the patterns, sewed every piece by hand, and even styled their models on their own, applying all the knowledge they have been learning here at the school.
The effort and hard work they’ve put into their craft has paid off. You can see the final product and how their creativity and uniqueness shined through. All designs are distinct and authentic to the designer. The talent my students obtain is outstanding. And this is only the beginning. You, too, can be part of our next fashion show.
