The art museum Palais de Tokyo in Paris, France is a building dedicated to contemporary art. The eastern wing of the building belongs to the City of Paris and hosts the Musée d’Art Moderne de Paris – while the west wing – the Palais de Tokyo – hosts changing exhibitions of contemporary art. Some of this art is “wild” and/or “strange” by any standard, as you will see.
The building was inaugurated by President Lebrun in May, 1937, at the time of the International Exposition of Art and Technology in Modern Life. 4K
